Dutch Design Leather, Est 2013

Since I love drawing and painting faces, I thought, I’d join the 29 Faces in 30 days challenge for september 2013.

29 faces
Now I saw this only yesterday, so I have some catching up to do with faces. That’s why I’ll post two faces today. Three if you also count the ghost like face in the background =)
Here are some close-ups from both faces.

This would be my face number 1, a sketch from a magazine picture I thought looked cool.

And face number 2, painted on a collaged background in acrylic paints, water soluble wax crayons and inda ink.

This was drawn by using rough guidelines for drawing faces.

Use an oval etc, so no example.

And yes that is a bird sitting on her eye… it was in the collaged background and I wanted to keep it.

I sure hope I can keep it up, because it’s so much fun to draw faces.
If you like drawing faces go check out the 29faces blog, there is still time to join the fun.

I've got very behind – but it's so exciting catching up with your amazing art… even going backwards!
